HERITAGE – Our parent company – E. H. SMITH – is one of the UK’s largest privately owned suppliers of construction materials and has a proud trading history dating back to the early part of the 20th. century. Over the years EHS has become Britain’s foremost brick specialist and, as early as 1931, fulfilled the complete requirements for the iconic BATTERSEA POWER STATION, considered at the time to be the largest free standing brick structure in Europe.

EUROPE – We specialise in BACK LOADING Continental road vehicles which come to the UK. Due to the imbalance of international trade, there are always vehicles looking for loads to return home. We can help you to make the most of this opportunity to achieve rapid collection and delivery, usually on the same vehicle, at very competitive cost. As we speak fluent French, Spanish and German we can liaise with your European customers to ensure prompt and efficient delivery and we can even work directly for buyers if they purchase on ex-works terms.

GLOBAL REACH – For overseas destinations we offer shipment by CONTAINER – FLAT RACK – MAFI – RO-RO – and CONVENTIONAL cargo vessels. As full members of the World Cargo Alliance – a global network of 2000 shipping agents – we have local representation in almost every country in the world to deal with Customs clearance, handling and inland delivery.
